I am responsible for locating expert witnesses within the contiguous states for our medical malpractice cases. I also perform research on medical topics, health and death related statistics and find articles to support theories in our cases.

I worked in a 16 bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit caring for mostly Open Heart Surgery, Neurotrauma, Thoracic, and Abdominal surgery patients. I obtained the highest level (Level III) as a charge nurse an staff nurse, with many responsibilities of creating policies and procedures for our unit and our equipment in the ICU. I also developed and ran the Charge Nurse meetings monthly. I was a preceptor for teaching new computer charting to nurses in our hospital from 1995-1997, and a preceptor for all new nurses joining our Unit.
